Synopsis
This film was supposed to follow a young boy who was separated from his father during World War II. The boy explores the island of Sodor where he meets Thomas the Tank Engine and takes a risk to find his father. It was the second feature film in the film. franchise (following “Thomas and the Magic Railroad” in 2000) and was slated for release in 2010. Due to multiple production issues, the film was constantly pushed back until it was finally canceled in 2015 when HIT Entertainment folded and sold its ownership to Mattel.
