Synopsis
Bewitched Agatha Harkness regains her freedom with the help of a teenager. Intrigued by her request, she embarks on a journey of witches' Traveling ordeals to regain her powers and find the teenage girl’s motivation. Stars Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Debra Jo Rupp and Ali Ann, along with host Jac Schaeffer and executive producer Mary Livanos, talk about how they prepared for the Marvel show’s off-screen scenes, which were filmed on Blondie Street, Warner Bros., before the neighborhood was demolished.

Agatha lives in the house that was used in the TV series Bewitched (1964). I came into Agatha All Along with no preconceptions or understanding of the story’s backstory. So it wasn’t until I dug deep and watched episode 6 (?) that I realized it was connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe – specifically WandaVision.
I felt betrayed and bitter
Well, after I got engaged with Agatha All Along, I put it on hiatus and had to watch WandaVision. While WandaVision has some critical elements as a backdrop to Agatha All Along, it’s pretty tangential (and – IMO – a much weaker show than Agatha All Along). Well, I finished E6 and then moved on to E7-E9 and I really had to give up the show’s identity.
The show has an unusual, original perspective on how the series progresses
The acting is excellent across the board, Hahn is a standout as Agatha. Above all, the trials and growth of the characters are well done. The show maintains an interesting story for adults, without the usual sugarcoating where everyone ends up happy in the end.
And it doesn’t detract unnecessarily from the overall show
While I don’t think the MCU connection was necessary, it is. I’d probably watch a second season if it came out. Check out our reviews of "Yellowstone" Season 5, Episode 2, "Squid Game" Season 2 and more of the most anticipated new series returning to TV and streaming.
