Synopsis

In the midst of an international crisis, career diplomat Kate Wyler takes a high-profile job for which she is ill-suited, with tectonic effects on her marriage and political future. The producers convince both the US and British governments to allow them to use real-life settings as locations for the series, including the still-newly-built US embassy (Nine Elms), which opened in 2018.

The only location off-limits was Winfield House, the actual residence of the American ambassador

I loved this show so much that I binged all eight episodes in one weekend

The series is about a diplomat (Keri Russell) who gets a new job as ambassador to the United Kingdom after an international crisis when an aircraft carrier is attacked. She also deals with her husband (Rufus Sewell), who is now a political star, and their unstable marriage.

I’m definitely looking forward to watching it and seeing where this show goes

It’s doing so well, and it’s been so well received, that it’s already been renewed early for another season.
