Synopsis
Fleeing from post-war Europe, architect-dreamer Laszlo Toth comes to America to rebuild his life, work and marriage with his wife Erzebet after he was separated during the war due to the change of borders and regimes. Alone in an unfamiliar new country, Laszlo settles in Pennsylvania, where the rich and famous industrialist Harrison Lee Van Buren recognizes his talent for construction.
