Synopsis
1917. Fleeing famine and war in Poland, Rebecca arrives in Brazil to reunite with her husband and start a new life. However, contrary to the promises of happiness, the reality she faces in Rio de Janeiro is completely different. She discovers her husband has passed away and ends up becoming a hostage in a vast network of prostitution and human trafficking.
