Synopsis
Solve the mystery of the city in the center of the USA. As the residents try their best to maintain a sense of normalcy and seek a way out, they must also survive the threats emanating from the surrounding forest. A town complex was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia.
Only paved streets and driveways remained, and a fake city was built on them
This place, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history: many years ago it housed residences, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a 24-hour convenience store, etc. (all demolished by 2004) to support the workers of the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. When Boyd walks into a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well.

The rope is thrown to him (presumably) by Martin in the room above, despite the fact that his wrists are chained. I write this for the writers and producers of the series: Please do not turn this into another “Staying alive” – another disappointment.
And it’s so annoying
You are headed straight for the same staircase. None of the characters talk to each other or talk about what is happening in the city. It’s as if they’ve suddenly become ignorant and are deliberately withholding important information that could help them understand what’s going on.
So, please, screenwriters and producers, don’t spoil it either
In addition, something new happens in each series, but it is never explained. I have watched 14 episodes so far, and nothing has become clear – just like “Staying alive”.
