In the eternal city of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendía family face love, oblivion, and the inevitability of their past and destiny. It is Netflix’s most expensive project in Latin America to date, with Colombian groups and indigenous communities building the props . and sets for the series.. I read this novel in 2018. After finishing it, I looked for a movie or series based on this novel and found nothing that surprised me. Marquez has created an entire world with great mastery, great characters, and events that will be remembered forever. As for the series, what a series! Often, when a movie or series is adapted from a novel, the novel is much better, with the exception of a few works. And this series has certainly managed to adapt the novel adequately and bring this fantastic world to the small screen. For those who are hesitant to watch this series, believe me, there is nothing more important than watching the series to pass your time..
